My Victorious Scar.
When I was a freshman, I discrete that my sport would be ravel. I valued to do running because my brother ran varsity and I as well wanted to be varsity. He once told me that I couldnt overreach his duration that he got for track or cross-country. What he had give tongue to got me kind of furious and sad. Cross-country started and our first race was culmination up I thought that I would get a good time.
Turned bulge to be that I didnt get the time I wished for because it was my first year. Through out the year I couldnt get close to his time at every race. Sadly, Cross-country ended and track indurate was coming up. I had taught to myself that 1 mile wouldnt be that hard, I was completely wrong I decided to the homogeneous event that my brother did to prove him wrong. Our first race had f every last(predicate) out and we were running against Moorpark.
Moorpark race was at early morning. My first 1 mile race wasnt that good, but as the inure continued my time was decreasing an amount. During all the races I had kept telling myself that I would convey his time no amour what. We were on our last race and I told myself that I had to beat his time.



It was time for the 1-mile event and all the runners where in position.
Everything went silence for seconds all I could hear is the adrena telegraph line rushing through my body. As soon as the gun went off I got in the middle of the pack trying to make it to the finish line. I was at my last lap when I was coming somewhat the corner and I see the clock and it read 5:50. I got disappointed in myself. So all I had left is to sprint to the finish line. Coming to the finish line I pushed myself to hard and fell over the finish line.
I had made myself a big cut on my knee. It was gummy for me that I knew I didnt beat my brothers time. The following day, the clock were up and I checked mine and I got 6:01.
