In this paper, I will discuss how subsistence & a subsistence economy effected and affected the ways in which the Aboriginal peoples of Australia lived, introductory to British Colonialism. I will specifically talk around food gathering techniques ( pedestrians, hunter/gathers, semi-nomadic), group organization (size of clan, publication of nations- 250, 1 million uncreateds prior to colonization by British Empire), and Social Organization. I believe the aboriginals demonstrated subsistence through their gathering techniques, group organization and through their social organization; in what follows, I will give examples of how they do so.
The word aboriginal means the first or earliest known (Humphrey 2001). The Aborigines be the indigenous people of Australia. Its believed that they originally came to the Australian classic between 40,000 and 60,000 years ago over a grunge bridge connecting Australia to Southeast Asia (Wade 2007). The Aborigines, on the other hand, believe animate that rose from beneath the Earth created them in Australian since the start out of time.
Aborigine stopping point remains a primitive culture by most modern standards, and Aborigines endeavor, when possible, to live much as their ancestors did in the Australian wilderness. In appearance, they have dark tomentum and skin, deep-set eyes, a broad nose and dominant cheekbones (Wade 2007).
Subsistence is a system in which people produce only what is infallible for their own survival (Nowak 2010).
