I am currently enrolled in the Medical Assistant Program because I can research more than than one problem field. Working as a Medical Assistant I forget be suitable to do X-rays, Phlebotomy, EKG Technician, or I could work at the front desk. I recently just started a in the buff telephone circuit as a Patient C be Coordinator. My job descriptions mainly consist of checking patients in and out of the facility as well as making return appointments. I wealthy person never worked in a health check confidence so all of this is new to me. I have only worked for a week so I still have a long way to go. The only down side to the job is that I am not bilingual and we subscribe with a lot of Hispanics. I now know that working as a medical assistant you need to know more than one language. Being certified to work as a Medical Assistant is a big plus. When employers look at your resume and you have that enfranchisement on there they will consider hiring you because that certification speaks for you. They will also know that you are well trained and ready to work. A certification in other words is like a seal of approval. thither are no state laws or regulations that require that medical assistant be certified. .
