The main two characters in the story are Lennie and George. A central feature of the saucy is the unlikely relationship between these two friends and to some lay brothers. On the face of it, it appears that Lennie, because of his mental immaturity, is totally reliant on George for his survival and for his main goal of bulgeting work at the various ranches where they are sent. Equally important is the extent to which George relies on Lennie for companionship in the generally unfriendly and lonely environs of the migrant workers.
Both Lennie and George were queue uped in denim trousers and in denim coats with brass buttons. Both wore black, shapeless hats and both carried soused blanket rolls slung over their shoulders.
this showed that they travelled light and moving always with not a lot of money, and the denim clothes decorate that they both work low payment jobs.
George was small and quick, baleful of face, with restless eyes and sharp, strong features. Every part of him was delineate: small, strong hands, slender arms, a thin and bony nose.
However, Lennie is the exhaust opponent to George, Lennie is a huge man, shapeless of face, with large, pale eyes, with wide, incline shoulders; and he walked heavily, dragging his feet a little, the way a retain drags his paws.
His arms did not swing at his side, but hung broadly.
Lennie is loving and lonely, but because of his immaturity he doesnt realise his strength, which gets him and George in trouble, because of his intellectual disability he likes to touch anything soft which similarly gets them in trouble, this occurred in the last ranch they worked in, when Lennie touched the dress of a young girl and that caused trouble and lead to them macrocosm chased out of the ranch.
George on the other hand, is the complete opposite of Lennie he is smart, strong and talks to people. George promised Lennies Aunt that he would point care of him before she died.
