Tragedy The Last Lovely City, by Alice Adams, is a tragical story. Dr. Benito Zamora, loses his married woman Elizabeth and is feeling the affects of her being gone. Zamora is having a bent of flashbacks involving Elizabeth. Dr. Benito Zamora, an acknowledged winner both in this country and his indispensable Mexico (219) is now a sadhearted widower. (219) Dr. Zamora has recently lost his wife, Elizabeth. But, it seems as he is already toil many to forget her by exit out with other women, to analyse his mind away. In the blood line of the story, he is driving slightly Stinson Beach, California with a women named Carla. As they emerge from the woods, Dr. Zamora has one of his many flashbacks involving Elizabeth.
