If I was to be injected in the femoral vein of a healthy female my journey would be to travel towards the middle-level vena cava. It is important to mention that the femoral vein lays in a place also known as the femoral triangle in the inguinal-femoral ara. I can desc ribe it a little better in laymans toll that the femoral vein lies in the proximal two-thirds of the thigh. Continuing on my trip towards the lungs and about to conquer the bacterium attacking my female objects objurgate lung, will lead me to the right atrium of the heart and then to the right heart ventricle. The right femoral vein continues as the right external iliac vein which joins the modest vena cava. From the insufficient vena cava blood passes to the right atrium, then to right ventricle and to the right lung via the right pneumonic artery. Inside the right atrium you would score to get into the right ventricle and the into the pulmonary trunk which divides into leftover and right pulmonary arteries. You would want to continue into the right pulmonary artery and select subsequent divisions which would perfuse the lower discussion section of the right lung.
After the ventricle I would go to the pulmonary SL valve. From there I would travel to the pulmonary artery and at long last to the right lung. The three lobes present in the right lung are the superior, middle and inferior lobe. The membrane covering the lungs is known as the pleura. The pleura is basically is what covers the outer surface of the lungs and lines the inner surface of the rib cage. The pleura are very similar to the other serous membranes in the way it is structured and functions.
